The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s recent report highlights that rebuilding depleted fisheries is an effective way to help avert dangerous climate breakdown: reducing negative climate change impacts, while supporting food security, biodiversity, human health and well-being.
We are proud to be supporting Blue Ventures expansion into the Philippines, one of the most biologically diverse countries in the world. In the second year of this project the team works closely with the municipality and communities, implementing saving groups, digital fisheries monitoring and data feedback sessions; sharing the findings of their work in nearby Indonesia to further their reach and impact.
